How Do I Register for Class?

For a list of available classes please visit the Classes calendar page and follow the prompts to register for class.


To inquire about a class for a specific date/time please contact us by phone or send an email message. 

What Do I Need to Bring to Class?

Come to class ready to learn with a respectful attitude. Please wear appropriate loose fitting clothing. The course will require some physical activity such as bending and stooping.

***Blended Learning Class***
Students may provide instructors one of the following as proof that they completed the online portion of the course:

1. A copy of the completion record that may be printed from the online course.

2. A copy of the email confirmation received upon completion of the online portion

3. Visibility to the completion status that appears above the “Launch Course” button (requires student to log in to the direct links platform using the course URL provided by the instructor)

What are the Payment Options?

Transactions must be completed using a credit card or debit card. The full balance is due at the time of registration.

Take Care LLC values every seat in our classroom. If you have reserved a seat in one of our classes, we have very strict policies about any student failing to meet requirements and very little consideration will be given.  As a training provider, our class seats are very limited in order to provide quality training to every individual.


There will be a non-refundable $5 registration fee in addition to what is stated above, deducted from course fees before refunds are issued. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstance.

If you are a NO SHOW / NO CALL - This means you will automatically be withdrawn from this course and NO refunds will be given under any circumstances. Calling the morning of your class - calling when you are late and the instructor will not let you in, is also too late. This is a 90-minute skills session, and you are expected to be in your place, that we held for you in this class, at the start time of the class.

***Blended Courses:  If you do not complete your online prerequisite and attend class, you will be asked to leave the classroom, you will be withdrawn from this course and NO refunds will be given under any circumstances.


Once registered for the course 25% of the cost is non-refundable, if having to cancel within 7 days of the start of the course 50% is non-refundable, if cancelling within 24 hours or if you do not attend the course there will be no refund given. If you registered for a blended course and do not complete the online learning within the allotted time it will be put down as a no-call no-show, no refund will be given.


Can I reschedule my class?

If participant needs to reschedule more than 7 days before the start of the course there will be no fee charged, if rescheduling within 7 days of the course there will be a $20 rescheduling fee, if rescheduling within 24 hours of the course there will be a $30 rescheduling fee.

**Note: If a course is cancelled by Take Care LLC, a reschedule will be made free of charge. If unable to attend a rescheduled date, full refund will be issued with no processing fees withheld.

In the event you are asked to leave class due to disruptive or inappropriate behavior, NO refund will be given.

Can I Register on the Day of Class?

Same day certification is contingent upon class availability. If you require same day certification please contact us.

What Type of Certification Will I Receive?

Certificates will be delivered electronically after successfully completing the course. Certificates will be distributed to the email address used to register class. 

Students will be certified through the American Red Cross. Certification is valid for two years. We offer re-certification as well!

This course meets licensing requirements for Missouri DMH employment. Please ask if you have questions regarding certification for your employer. We would love to be of service!

Where is Class Located?

We are completely mobile which affords us the opportunity to come to you! The location of class(es) will be determined during the consultation. 

Take Care LLC serves the entire Kansas City Metro Area. Portions of the course may be completed online.


*Online courses must be completed prior to participating in the in-person class.

My Group or Business Would Like to Host a Class?

No problem. These courses may be given as an employment requirement, or for groups/organizations such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, church groups, etc. Or maybe you would just like to host a class for your family and friends, that's ok too!

What if I need an accommodation?

No problem. Please let us know as as soon as possible what type of accommodation(s) you need.

Where do I find my certificate online?

Certificates are stored in your profile with the Red Cross. You may log into your account or visit this American Red Cross Link to look up your certificate. You must know the email address you used to create your user login.
